Dunvegan Castle has three holiday cottages each with its own unique character and charm. The perfect location for a get-away holiday in which to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the castle’s formal gardens and the beauty of Loch Dunvegan. For the more adventurous, they are ideally situated as a base for fishing, hill walking, sightseeing and touring on the Isle of Skye.
Bonnie Prince Charlie had to leave Skye in a hurry, but you can stay for as long as you like to enjoy an enchanted isle where nature reigns supreme. It offers individuals an opportunity to feel at one with the elements and return at the end of a wonderful day to a cosy warm cottage.
Although we do not claim to offer luxury accommodation, as this would not be in keeping with the age-old way of life on Skye, our cottages are best described as comfortable and cosy in a traditional Highland sense. We want our guests to relax and unwind in an atmosphere of walking boots and outdoor living. So let us show you some good old-fashioned Highland hospitality. We warmly welcome you to spend some time with us and reconnect with a gentler pace of life from another age.
The cottages are comfortably furnished, centrally heated and well equipped. They each contain a colour TV, fully fitted kitchen with dining area, washing machine, tumble-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels and electricity/heating charges are all included in the rental charge.
A welcome hamper awaits your arrival. It includes a complimentary invitation to visit Dunvegan Castle and information on what to see and do during your stay.
