Within the surrounding area of the picturesque village, Isle of Whithorn, are some of Scotland’s most fascinating historical attractions including St Ninian’s Cave, standing stones and Bronze Age cup-and-ring-marked rocks. Close-by, Newton Stewart offers lots to do including a superb 18-hole golf course, while 300 squares miles of magnificent forest walks, cycling trails and wildlife are within easy driving distance at the Galloway Forest Park.
