The accommodation consists of an L shaped open plan living area, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. There are lawns to the front and back of property and a driveway which takes three cars. French doors open from living room to a paved area with views to the sea.
Whithorn is the site of the famous Whithorn Dig. These excavations have revealed evidence of the earliest Christian settlement in Scotland. Many of the finds are now on display in Museum at the Visitors Centre.
The beach at Laigh Isle, which is approximately 100 metres from the property, is rocky and unsuitable for swimming although a nearby cove gives excellent swimming at high tide. Fine sandy beaches ,which offer save swimming, are only a short drive away. There are many pleasant walks in the area, including forest trails. Golf courses are available at Monreith, Wigtown and Stranraer.
