"Athens of the North"
Built on and around seven hills, Edinburgh is a remarkable place in which surprising changes of level occur at every turn. Calton Hill where we are situated being one of them. Climb the Calton Hill and enjoy the superb views of Edinburgh from this unique vantage point and find out why the city is known as the "Athens of the North".
Ideal location
The seclusion offered by the treelined, terraced gardens skirting Calton Hill, yet the close proximity of the Adria to the city centre, provides guests with an ideal location just to rest or explore Edinburgh from this base.
