Ashbank - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

DIRECTIONS TO ASHBANK FROM TIC (at Falkirk Wheel)
Turn left at roundabout on to A883 and join M876 motorway at Junction 1 in the direction of Edinburgh.
Continue on to M9 motorway and exit junction 5.
Turn right and continue to roundabout. Exit and follow sign for Falkirk/Polmont for 200m then turn left uphill to crossroads. Straight through up Salmon Inn Road and turn second right. Ashbank is on the right.

Getting There by Car

From north and west, exit junction 5 of M9 motorway and turn right at traffic lights. At roundabout take A9 for 200 yards then turn left after Cadger's Brae. Straight on at crossroads then turn second right. Ashbank is on the right.
From eastern direction take 1st exit at roundabout. As above.

Getting There by Railway

From Polmont main line train station (Edinburgh-Glasgow-Stirling) turn left onto main road. After approximately 500 metres turn left onto Salmon Inn road. Continue straight then turn left onto Main street at the brow of the hill. Ashbank is on the right. Walking time 15 minutes. Call Ashbank for courtesy pick-up.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Edinburgh airport take A8 west to Newbridge roundabout. Follow signs for M9 Stirling. Exit M9 at junction 5. Journey time 20 minutes.
From Glasgow airport take M8 east to join M9 then exit J5. Turn right and continue on to roundabout. Take A9 for 200 yds then turn left uphill. Continue uphill to crossroads and go straight through then turn second right. Ashbank is on the right.

Getting There by Ferry

From Hull/Troon/Rosyth follow signs for M9 motorway. Exit junction 5.
