Stables Guest House is privately owned and is surrounded by its own pretty gardens. It is situated minutes walk from the centre of the busy rural market town of Newton Stewart which offers a wide range of hotels, restaurants and cafes and places to eat, shops, a cinema, golf course and riverside walks.
A warm welcome awaits you at the Stables which offers both twin (2) and double rooms (4) with en-suite facilities. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, television and radios. We have ample private parking.
For your comfort Stables operates a non-smoking policy throughout. There is a pleasant residents lounge and dining room/conservatory. A choice of dishes is offered at breakfast time, using fresh local produce where possible. Newton Stewart is situated on the River Cree in the heartland of Galloway amid some of the most beautiful scenery in south west Scotland. The area is renowned for its nature walk trails, cycle tracks, bird-watching, fishing and golf courses, of which there are thirty two!
