At Fernbank we have a range of rooms for you, including single, double (1 large bed), twin (2 single beds), triple (3 single beds) and family ( double plus single bed). Several of our rooms may be equipped with a sofa chair-bed and all of our rooms can accept a cot. Please ask when booking and we can invariably help.
Our rooms are laid out over 3 levels but with only a few stairs to negotiate. If you may have a problem with stairs, we have 3 rooms on the ground floor; please ask and we shall do our best to assist you.
All our rooms have WC, shower and a wash hand basin, Digital LCD TV, coffee/tea, heating, a security safe, free WiFi and a hairdryer. We also have a Sky TV lounge with internet access (a small charge applies for printing) and a garden smoking area.
The Main Entrance
Fernbank is entered through the RIGHT of the buildings 2 red, front doors, accessed either from the Main Street or from the on-site car park around the garden. Just ring the door bell and either Linda or David will help you.
Please note that we are able to accept arrivals outside of our normal check-in times (1600 -2200) by prior arrangement. For online bookings, just request late/early arrival.
Breakfast Room
Delightful breakfast room, seating up to 18 guests at a range of 2 and 4 seater, individual tables.
Fruit juice, yoghurts, fresh fruit and a range of breakfast cereals are self-service. A cooked breakfast is available on request and is cooked to order. We hope you are hungry!
Vegetarian breakfast etc. available on request; please mention your requirements on checking in.
Entrance Hallway and Stairway
The entrance hallway is accessed through 2 doors; all guests are supplied with door keys so you may return in the evening at your own discretion, but please don't forget to close the inner door after use.
Stairs lead to upper rooms with the breakfast room accessed from the end of the hallway.
Single room.
Single room but with full sized double bed. £10.00 discount from double price if used as a double!!!
Superior Triple Room-Extra bed/cot is available on request.
This room has either 3 single beds or a King (2 linked singles) and a single bed. This room is both spacious and, being East facing, is airy and bright. There is room for an additional bed (sofa chair) or a cot.

The Garden and Car Park
On those long Summer days (honestly, we do have them), relax and unwind in the South-facing garden.
We have 7 car parking spaces and there is a free, public car park adjacent to the Guest House for any larger vans etc.
The Lounge. Features a large screen plasma TV with Sky access and an Internet-connected PC.
Relax in the Lounge from just before breakfast until later in the evening. Read a paper or magazine, or perhaps watch your favourite program on the large screen. Check your travel itinerary, check out the local sights of interest or just browse the web on the in-room PC. Printing is available at a small per sheet cost; just ask.

A delightfully re-decorated, large and airy room with ultra-modern shower/WC. This room can be equipped with an extra single bed (sofa chair).
Superior Family Room
This delightful en-suite room has a double and a single bed; an extra temporary bed or cot is available on request. The room also has a full sized sofa.
