Rosemount (Kippford) - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Dumfries take the A711 to Dalbeattie. At Dalbeattie turn left and follow the main road through the town centre. At the junction with the A710 turn left for the Solway coast. After approx 3 miles turn right at the sign for Kippford and follow the road down to the water front. Rosemount is located along 'The Front' overlooking the water.
From Castle Douglas take the A745 to Dalbeattie. On entering Dalbeattie take the first right hand turn sign posted for the A710 Solway Coast/Colvend Coast. After approx 3 1/2 miles turn right at the sign for Kippford and follow the road down to the water front. Rosemount is located along 'The Front' overlooking the water.

Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer, take A75 to Castle Douglas. From Castle Douglas take A745 to Dalbeattie then A710 to Solway Coast. Turn right at signs for Kippford and follow the road down to the water front.
