Galashiels is in the geographical heart of the borders and is a great place to start exploring the area. The Borders is full of historic places to visit: Ancient Abbeys, Stately homes, Museums, Roman Ruins and most of all the most beautiful scenery that can be found in Scotland.
Galashiels offers easy access to golfing (within half an hours travelling there are numerous top class golf courses), fishing and walking pursuits as well as beautiful historic houses, ancient castles and abbeys, amidst delightful rolling Scottish countryside. We are in the centre of Galashiels and adjacent to the Bus station and some of the best shopping in the Borders. Our home is an ideal base for touring the Borders/Edinburgh.
Whatever your interests, you'll find something in the Borders, and at the comfortable Monorene Guesthouse, your bed and breakfast stay will be an enjoyable, relaxing experience.
We are situated in the heart of Galashiels opposite the Bus Station.
