Ptarmigan House
Ptarmigan House if a former Victorian shooting lodge, sitting in its own grounds on the southern edge of the attractive Highland village of Blair Atholl. It looks out over fields and golf course to the hills beyond. Restaurant, pub, shop, golf course, swimming pool and gym all within 5 minutes walk. Rooms are bright and tastefully decorated and all have ensuite facilities, TV, tea, coffee etc. Breakfast is included.
Blair Atholl is in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and offers visitors wonderful scenery, long or short walks, hill walking, golf, mountain biking etc. It is also an ideal base for touring the Highlands. The world famous Blair Castle is approximately 1 mile from Ptarmigan House and is open daily from Easter to end Oct. We are only a couple of miles from Killiecrankie, scene of the famous battle of 1689, with its spectacular gorge. Only a few minutes north the now famous "House of Bruar", or "Harrods of the North" as it is also known. We hope you will come and spend a few days with us and are sure you will not be disappointed.
