A herd of Highland Cows are kept in Glen Nevis, near Fort William which is in the lea of Ben Nevis. Glen Nevis is one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland and the Forestry commission has many recommended walks. The best walk is at the head of the glen where you will walk through a gorge and into a hidden valley with the majestic Steall Falls, one of the best waterfalls in Scotland (Allow an hour for the return walk).
