Glenfinnan is at the head of Loch Sheil only 30 minutes north from Fort William. Glenfinnan has a National Trust Centre advising on the history of the Jabobite Rebellion of 1745. The monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie can be climbed. During the summer should you be at Glenfinnan at approx 11am on most days you will see the Jacobite steam train passing over the Glenfinnen Viaduct as appeared in the first Harry Potter film.
