The Alexander was acquired recently by the current owners who have substantially refurbished it with the aim of creating comfortable and contemporary rooms, the ideal place to relax after your day in the Highlands. The Alexander is on the east bank of the river Ness and is close to the city centre.
Guests have breakfast in the beautiful Dining Room and both this and the comfortable Lounge have a striking vista over the river Ness and onto the Cathedral. This central location also offers guests the opportunity to easily explore the town with its wealth of shops and restaurants. Speyside (with its fishing and whisky trails), the dazzling scenery of the Black Isle, Loch Ness and Aviemore and the Cairngorms are all close by.
This diversity is making Inverness increasingly popular for a midweek or weekend City Break and of course for that more extended stay as well. Inverness is also proving popular as a Romantic Weekend destination.
The rooms are light and airy and have en-suite facilities, colour tv and a hospitality tray. Car parking is available. The Alexander is a non-smoking establishment.
