Port Charlotte Islay Youth Hostel (SYHA) - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Bowmore follow the road signs to Bridgend. At Bridgend turn left and follow the signage to Port Charlotte. Hostel is on the shore side of the main road, just over the wee bridge, as you enter the village.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Islay Airport take the bus to Bowmore and transfer there to the Port Nahaven. The bus will drop you off at the front entrance to the hostel, in Port Charlotte.
Getting There by Ferry
From Port Ellen take thewaiting bus to Bowmore and transfer to the Portnahaven. The bus will drop yuo off at the front entrance to the hostel, in Port Charlotte. From Port Askaig take the wainting bus to Bridgend and transfer to the Portnahaven bus. The bus will drop you at the front entrance to the hostel in Port Charlotte.
