Bridgend Farm Country Bed & Breakfast

A warm welcome awaits you at Bridgend Farm Country Bed & Breakfast. Our non working farm is set in the heart of the Earl of Dunmore's Country Estate near the small village of Airth, with Castles you can visit on either side of us, this makes Bridgend Farm the perfect base for exploring Loch Lomond, West Highland Way and Trossachs.

Visit Stirling with its spectacular cliff top castle which now hosts its own Hogmanay Party, Wallace's Monument, Bannockburn and University all within a few minutes drive away. The Historical town of Falkirk is a 5 minute drive away. Visit the Falkirk Wheel, the world's only rotating boat lift which services the Forth & Clyde and Union canals. A 5 minute drive will take you to the main motorways which service the north and south where Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached in well under an hour.

Our home is perfectly located for five local golf courses, all within a ten minute drive. Gleneagles, Loch Lomond and St Andrews, can all be reached within the hour also the British Super bike and touring car rounds at Knockhill race circuit.

If you enjoy walking or cycling, the countryside that surrounds us is perfect. You can easily walk or cycle to one of Scotland's most bizarre buildings, a National Trust treasure, The Pineapple. Farm land here on the Earl's estate is full of wildlife.

Our home is beautifully furnished with bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, all centrally heated, all have wash hand basin vanity units with shaving points and mirrors, tea/coffee facilities, TV/DVD, hairdryers, and towelling bath robes. Bridgend Farm also offers an extensive breakfast menu. Every effort is made to make your stay a memorable one. Bicycle hire available.
