From the harbour in the village designed by Thomas Telford, enjoy an informative and memorable trip to see the famous dolphins. The village is also the burial place of Sir Alexander MacKenzie who discovered the MacKenzie River in Canada. There are lovely walks starting from the village, eg. you could spot the ospreys around Munlochy Nay. Enjoy golf at the excellent course at neighbouring Fortrose and Rosemarkie or continue along the coast to Cromarty, birthplace of Hugh Miller.
