So convenient for the ferries to Ireland just 500 metres away, Cairnryan House is situated directly across from the shore of Loch Ryan with uninterrupted views across the loch to Wig Bay and Corsewall Point. You can watch the P & O Cairnryan to Larne ferry and Stena ferry and HSS which sail to Belfast from Stranraer, a five minute drive away, sail by in front of your window!.
Within a short drive of Cairnryan are a number of beautiful gardens protected by the warm gulf stream that frequents the area, forest walks and nature reserves. We are just five minutes walk to the bird watching area at Cairn Point frequented by many seeking a view of the King Eider and other rare seabirds.
A period property, Cairnryan House was built in 1894. Formerly the local Manse, the house retains many of its original features, most notably the staircase, cornicing and stonework. There is off-road parking for up to ten vehicles and guests are welcome to sit in our front garden, guest lounge which has a fire lit on colder days, or just relax in your room watching the ferries go by.
All of our four rooms which can be used as doubles, twins, singles or as family accommodation are non smoking, en-suite, centrally heated, with television, dressing table, hair dryer and a courtesy tea and coffee tray.
