Auchavan Stables
Auchavan Stables is a stable conversion set in a quiet highland glen. It has been expertly converted offering spacious bright accommodation and a convenient holiday base to explore this fairly remote, peaceful highland glen. It is ideally placed to tour the Angus Glens all around, ski at Glenshee (10 miles away) or enjoy numerous hillwalks from the doorstep - gentle or more ambitious as desired.
You can visit Balmoral, Glamis and Blair Atholl Castle or follow the Castle trail. A half hour drive takes you to excellent golf courses at Alyth and Blairgowrie. The nearest shop and pub are 7 miles away. More shops are available in Blairgowrie, Alyth or Kirriemuir. Pitlochry Theatre is 45 minutes away and Perth and Dundee, with Cinema, Theatre, Station, Museums, Shopping Centres and recreation facilities are about one hour away.
Weekly lets run from Saturday to Saturday, but short breaks and weekends are also welcome. One dog is allowed by prior arrangement and must be kept under strict control.
