The cottage sits in a fantastic location, central for everything. Stirling Castle, which hosts its own Hogmanay Party, just minutes from Falkirk which has the world's first rotating boat lift. Five local golf courses all within a five minute drive. Gleneagles and Loch Lomond Golf Courses can be reached within an hour. We are an ideal base for the British Superbike Rounds or Touring Car Rounds at Knockhill. Under 1 hour from Edinburgh and all its attractions and 25 minutes from Glasgow. Or quite simply an ideal exploring base.
The comfortable fully equipped cottage is located in the small village of South Alloa. Plumtree offers panoramic views of the Ochil's and River Forth with many spectacular sunsets. Stirling and Falkirk can be reached in only a few minutes. Airth Castle Hotel and surrounding pubs & restaurants are all within a few minutes drive, along with post office, news agents and licensed grocer all in the neighbouring village of Airth.
The detached cottage can accommodate 2-4 people + cot with one double bedroom which has French doors stepping out onto decking with small table and chairs, also one twin bedded room. There's a well equipped dining/kitchen, with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and fridge freezer. The lounge has flat screen TV/DVD music system, comfortable sofa and chairs, the bathroom is well equipped with power shower bath and shaving point.
Bed linen and towels are provided, electricity and heating are included in the price.
The property has a driveway, ample parking for 2 cars, a large mature garden at the front and a patio area with decking at the rear which is fenced in.
There is a lovely new children's adventure play area 200 yds from the cottage for the sole use of the children in this small village. A beautiful little cottage, truly a gem.
