Room 1 - this is one of our two superior doubles that are ideal for those wanting a little more comfort, perhaps on an extended stay, this room is not normally available for less than 2 nights for advance bookings.
Room 2 our triple room with 3 single beds, this room proves to be very popular as people often travel in groups of 3.
One of our 3 twin rooms, one of which is located on the ground floor for those not so good with stairs.
Room 5, the other of our superior doubles with that extra little bit of luxury of a leather sofa to relax on after a long days walking. Once again this room is normally only available for stays of 2 nights or longer in advance.

A typical ensuite for our rooms, all come with complimentary arrival toiletries to see you through your first night. All have fantastic power showers to sooth away any aching bones. Room 7 our ground floor twin has a full wet room with gravity fed shower for those who find it a littless easy to get in and out of a cubicle.
Room 6 is our small double with limited luggage space, don't let this put you off as we think of it as one of our favourite rooms and many people ask to stay in it on future visits.
Situated about 5 minutes walk from us is the centre of Ballater with all its little shops and many Royal Crests. A must see whislt you stay with us.
Glen Muick Church situated in the heart of the village. A really beautiful example of this type of building.
Ballater Pipe Band, if you get a chance to see the pipes and drums you will enjoy the authentic sound of Scotland. The band often performs on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer months as well as its practice nights on the main green.
The Old Station building where Queen Victoria would leave her Royal train enroute to Balmoral, now it houses a replica of that very train as well as a tourist information centre and small shops.
