Aynetree Guest House - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

Go to Princes Street and take a No. 44 (NOT No. 26) bus (either Lothian Region Transport or First Bus) from outside Marks and Spencers (opposite tall monument in the gardens). The fares are £1.20 (adult) and 70p (child 5-15) - you need the exact money as the driver does not give change! Depending on your travel plans, a day pass (£3.00) might be more suitable If getting a day pass; only get the No.44 Lothian Region Transport bus.

Getting There by Car

From the south/east - Follow the A1 until you see the Big W store on right. Next set of traffic lights turn left sign posted 'City Centre'. The Aynetree Guest House is located 800m on the left (opposite park).

From the north/west - Follow the M8 then the A720 (south and east - not north and west) to the A1 exit (Old Craighall Junction) sign posted 'City Centre'. Follow the A1 until you see the Big W store on right. Next set of traffic lights turn left sign posted 'City Centre'. The Aynetree Guest House is located 800m on the left (opposite park).

Getting There by Railway

Getting there from Waverley Train Station:

Getting there by Aeroplane

By bus - Take Airline Bus (100) to city centre. Go to Princes Street and take No. 44 (NOT No. 26) bus (either Loth. Reg. Trans. or First Bus) from outside Marks and Spencers (opp. tall monument). Fare is £1.20 (adult) and 70p (child 5-15) - you need the exact money as the driver does not give change! Depending on your travel plans, a day pass (£2.50) might be more suitable. If getting a day pass; only get the No.44 Lothian Region Transport bus.

By car - follow directions from north/west.

Getting There by Ferry

Follow signs to Forth Road Bridge (A9). Once over Forth Road Bridge follow signs for M9/M8.
