You will be assured of a comfortable relaxing stay.
A ground floor double en-suite room is available with category 3 disabled facilities, four further rooms (3 en-suite) are available on the first floor and a large family en-suite room (max occupancy 5 persons) occupies the second floor.
The Torbay Lodge offers a warm and friendly welcome and is ideal accommodation for tourists, golfers, cyclists (cycle storage available), family researchers (2 minutes walk from the extensive Ewart library), art enthusiasts (5 minute walk from the Gracefield Arts Centre). The Torbay Lodge can accommodate parties of up to 14 people. Corporate bookings are also very welcome and becoming increasingly popular since the introduction of the free wireless internet access.
Your hosts, Suzanne and Derek, use locally supplied fresh produce for breakfasts and offer a varied menu from hearty full cooked to lighter omelettes. Vegetarians, vegans and guests with any other special dietary needs can be catered for. Packed lunch are available to order. For evening meals we can recommend a variety of local restaurants, some with reductions off their listed menu prices.
There is a south facing garden attracting wild birds with seating for our guests to enjoy. Your hosts will endeavour to be as helpful as possible to guests; street maps, details of local attractions and weather forecasts are displayed within the hall way and train/bus timetables are available.
