Free private parking for residents. There are spaces for up to 5 cars.
Our guest house is on a main bus route to the centre of Edinburgh, which is only 10 minutes away using one of the 3 local bus services from just outside our door. To walk to the centre would take a bit longer, 25/30 minutes.
You are provided with your own front door key so you may come and go as you please.
All our rooms have private en-suite with Showers.
Also within the rooms is tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, TV and a radio/alarm clock.
ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING.
Dining Room
Our Scottish breakfast consists of a choice of Cereals, selection of Fruit Juices, and choice of Yoghurts. My wife (a great cook) makes traditional scones and/or we provide croissants .
The hot breakfast is Bacon, Sausage, Egg, Mushrooms, Baked Beans, Tomato & Haggis. Or for a lighter start to the day, you can choose separate items from the menu, ie Scrambled Egg with Bacon or Sausage with Fried egg. All of the choices above are served with Tea or Coffee, Toast, Marmalade, Jam & Butter.
Twin en-suite
Situated on the first floor it faces to the rear of the house and has lovely country views towards the Braid Hills and Tower Mains farm.
Superking Double
Facing to the front of the house this is a spacious and bright room. The superkingsize bed provides a most comfortable sleeping experience. It has enough leg room for those looking for something more that a quick overnight stay. Each bed features a brushed suede-upholstered headboard and is styled in luxurious cream and rustic tones.
This room features a Zip&Link system bed so that the room can also be utilised as a Twin room or with the provision of a temporary bed it can easily accommodate three persons.
Triple or Family en-suite
Our family room and largest of all. Situated on the first floor and with a large bay window, it is a very bright room and would suit a family of 3 or 4. The beds consist of a Superkingsize bed for the ultimate in comfort and an equally comfortable single bed. If there is a fourth member of the family don't worry we have enough room to provide another bed. And with our Zip&link beds, we can also offer an option of twin beds making four single beds.
