Loch Fada and Storr Lochs offer world class fishing and walking some of the walking can be found in the immediate area. Boats can be hired on the lochs.

The Old Man of Storr is one of Skye's most famous landmarks and is just a couple of miles away from Dunsgiath apartments and offers a fantastic walk and day out. The views from here are fabulous.
Dolphins can be seen in the Minch in and around Portree Harbour.
Dolphins, whales, porpoises, and a host of other wildlife can be regularly seen around Skye and boatrips are avaialable from Portree (5 mins) and Staffin (10 minuts)
The Quiraing, another stunning landmark on the Trotternish ridge and another movie location from the hollywood movie Stardust
The Quiraing offers more hard to beat walks and its unusual pinnacles have earned a place in many major films and many many car adverts.
Puffins nestled into the rock faces and are another regular around Skye. The UKs rarest bird of prey the white tailed sea eagle can be seen from boatrips in Portree
There is so much wildlife around Skye and in the immediate area around the aprtments you can see swans, foxes, otters. Eagles seen whilst lying in the hammock of our Fada apartment.

The views on Skye are different day to day the magical light changes every minute and means fantastic opportunities for photgraphers, painters and writers. The Trotternish peninsular in particular has so many interesting cliffs and unusal outcrops.
Boats available for hire on Storr lochs just down the apartments which yyou can see in the background. A great way to spend the day even if you dont fish!
There is so much to do in and around the apartments boating and fishing, birdwatching, walking relaxing. Borreraig bay just a 3 minute drive and a short though severe walk down to the bay will reward you with an abundance of fossils. Some viking treasure was found here in 1971 and a dinosaur fossil found more recently.

A visit to Skye wouldnt be complete without a photo of one of these Highland Cattle. Theye can be seen on the road out of Portree slowly wandering up the road.

Porree Harbour from the gaelic 'Port-righ' the port of Kings or Royal port. This has to be one of the most scenic bays in the whole of the west coast. There are plenty of shops around Portree, banks, excellent restaurants and bars most of which have live music during the season
