Ardbeg House

Ardbeg House overlooks the conservation village of Dervaig, on the North coast of the Isle of Mull, and is set in an acre of garden grounds.
The house was an industrial school for girls, built in the Victorian era. Owners, Brian and Iona Abnett have refurbished and up-graded the house, to provide a high standard of comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation.
All of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, radio alarm clock, mini fridge, hairdryer and a good selection of toiletries.
We serve freshly cooked to order breakfasts in our conservatory dining room, with local produce when available.
The Isle of Mull has magnificent scenery and is a fabulous place to see wildlife in its' natural environment. White-tailed Sea Eagles (hide for viewing 4 miles away), Golden Eagles, Otters (less than a mile distant). Red deer can also be seen on the open ground adjacent to Ardbeg House, Tawny Owls (see photo of owlet hatched in our owl box in 2006), Basking Sharks (one was seen in Calgary Bay 4 miles away in 2006), - the photos displayed here were taken in and around the grounds of Ardbeg House and the local area.
Ardbeg House is 'pet friendly' and welcomes pets by prior arrangement.
Loch and sea fishing are available locally and Mull boasts 2 golf courses and many other outdoor activities.
We look forward to welcoming you!
