Bridge House is a licensed guesthouse owned & run by Michael & Carol Ritchie, who are committed to providing a warm and friendly home from home, which guests return to again & again.
Situated on the outskirts of Moffat, Bridge House enjoys a peaceful & tranquil position with views overlooking the hills that surround Moffat, yet only ten minutes walk into the town centre. Built in 1848, this beautiful villa speaks of quality & relaxation, from the interior decoration to the comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Start to unwind the moment you arrive with complementary afternoon tea served in the lounge or outside in fine weather.
The Master Bedroom boasts a traditional four-poster bed along with beautiful views from the large bay window. Included for this room are extra comforts of Arran Aromatic products, & a cafetiére for making fresh coffee. Double & Twin rooms are also available. All rooms are en suite and have tea/coffee making facilities and televisions. The large family room consists of a king-sized bed and two single beds, with a Combination TV & Video Unit, (videos are available to borrow). A freshly cooked breakfast awaits you in the morning, or a lighter option of croissants and Danish pastries is available.
The Dining Room is open to residents & non-residents and is fast earning a good reputation for the standard of cuisine & attentive service. Michael, a fully qualified chef, has spent the last 20+years working in Hotels and Restaurants as Head Chef. He therefore sources only the finest local produce wherever possible to use on the menus, which change regularly. There is also a wine & spirit list to complement your meal.
