Glencloy is a stunning century old farmhouse with immense character and charm. Situated in a peaceful glen just outside Brodick, the house is set in large formal gardens and paddock, home to a host of wildlife and our not so wild free range chickens. We have splendid views of the Glen, rolling hills and mountains down to the sea, its idyllic.

We are well sited for exploring, close enough to Brodick to walk into the village, and on the periphery to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Hazel, Neil, Family and Friends extend a warm welcome to guests staying in their home and will be happy to help if you have any queries from where to eat out to buying a spark plug. Ask us anything to help you enjoy your stay on Arran to the fullest.

Why not bring a party of friends or family and have sole use of the house. We also welcome delegates for the smaller conferences or extended meetings (residency necessary) All our rooms have individual character in keeping with this type of house, are comfortably furnished with quality crisp bedding and freshly laundered towels, have tv/video and a well stocked complimentary tray.

Make use of our elegant drawing room which overlooks the garden. Comfortably furnished for a relaxed moment of your stay. It has Digital TV/DVD, WiFi and a piano for your use. You will be able to enjoy your breakfast while watching the many wild birds enjoy theirs, we have a visiting red squirrel who joins in too.

Food is of great importance and when possible we will use food made, grown or produced locally. Our chickens, which roam our grounds freely much of the time, provide us with delicious fresh eggs daily. An extensive range of honey, marmalades and jams from Arran are available at the breakfast table. Breakfast is a relaxed affair and can be served by Neil wearing his kilt. Enjoy a full Scottish complimented with Arran Marmalades, Jams and Honey.
