The Macleod Family have been providing excellent hospitality "And wonderful breakfasts" to visitors to Skye for over 40 years from our modern guest house located on the shore of Loch Portree only 10 Mins walk to the centre of Portree.

Take time to enjoy our large gardens and take a stroll down the croft to the Sea shore and relax watching the wildlife, Or if you would rather enjoy it all from a sofa with a cup of tea or coffee in our large guest lounge with spectacular views of Loch Portree and the Island of Rassay feel free!

An-Airidh is a modern guest house on the Shore Loch Portree overlooking the bay towards Ben Tianavaig and Raasay. Excellent base for exploring Skye. 5 minutes from the Aros Heritage Centre. 10 minutes walking to centre of Portree. Facilities include: large guest lounge overlooking Loch Portree and wireless high speed internet, as well as an extensive breakfast menu giving you all the energy you need to enjoy the Island.

On your arrival either Catherine "Who will be in her kitchen cooking" or Hamie "If its sunny he will be tending to the large garden or painiting landscapes in his shed" will warmly welcome you to their home, you will find ample car parking, and help carrying your bags to your well equipped room.

Hamie and Catherine pride themselves in offering your the highest quality breakfast's from a quick help yourself Buffet of fresh fruit & Juce, Prunes,yogurt, Grapefruit, or wonderful Home made porridge all the way through to a Traditional Scottish cooked breakfast with all the trimmings you choose! Or perhaps you would like an Omelette or our favourite Kippers or perhaps some Smoked Haddock, The choice is yours.

When you return to your bedroom after a hard day exploring the Island relax and pamper yourself in your en-suite with a full sized bath or if your more of the hop in hop out type, we have installed a high pressure water system which offer our guests "amazing showers" we have been told.

Or simply relax in our guest lounge overlooking portree by night or perhaps watch a movie in your room via freeview.
