Achintee Farm Guest House
Achintee Farm is in Glen Nevis, beside the river, at the start of the Ben Nevis footpath. The West Highland Way passes close by. We offer a peaceful, relaxing stay with plenty of walking right from the door.
Our 19th century farmhouse has a friendly atmosphere, with modern comfort and traditional charm. There are three guest bedrooms all with en-suite facilities - two large double/twin rooms and one single room. Non smoking.
Guests are welcome to use the lounge which has lots of books and maps as well as a television.
There is also plenty of space in the garden when the weathers too good to be indoors.
Up the drive 200 yards, the old stone barn has been converted into a licensed restaurant, the Ben Nevis Inn, serving freshly prepared bar meals using local produce.
Only a mile and a half from Fort William, Achintee is centrally located for day trips to, for example, Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, or the white sandy beaches of Morar. Take a steam train to Mallaig, a boat trip to Seal Island, or a mountain cable car ride at Aonach Mor.
Mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, golfing and skiing are also available locally.
We have lived in Glen Nevis for many years so you can rely on our local knowledge for advice and guidance.
