This attractive small rural campsite with shielings (wooden tents) with basic facilities provides an easily accessible rural escape just 30 minutes by car from central Glasgow. Enjoy the peace and quite, listen to the Locher Burn meander pass, take advantage of the nearby community woodland for walks, views to Loch Lomond National Park and a link route (5.5km) to Muirshiel Country Park and Visitor Centre. The site is NOT suitable for caravans or dogs.
The nearest shops, bank and catering outlets are 4 miles away in Lochwinnoch (Bridge of Weir or Kilmacolm). Sheilings must be booked in advance.
