The Hazelton is an elegant three-storey Victorian town house, retaining much of its original character and enjoying a prominent position in the heart of Crail. Owned by Catherine and David Fraser, The Hazelton provides comfortable, light and airy, en-suite accommodation.
On the ground floor, the sunny breakfast room overlooks the impressive 16th Century Tolbooth. David and Catherine are passionate about real food and a delicious breakfast is freshly prepared to order. Proper pork sausages, back-bacon, and spicy black pudding are all supplied by Crail's award-winning butcher, J B Penman. Lighter options include scrambled eggs and Scottish smoked salmon, or a medley of sautéed mushrooms and juicy baked cherry tomatoes.
The bedrooms are situated on the first and second floors, with sea views towards the Firth of Forth and Isle of May from the top floor. Rooms are tastefully decorated and beds are richly upholstered, complemented with crisp white linen and cosy duvets. Housekeeping throughout is impeccable.
