Spiggie House - Images
Stunning Views of the house and beach
Spiggie House is set in a peaceful location, on its own with plenty of privacy and just a short walk to the little beach.
Fully fitted kitchen with extending table.
Lovely views out over the beach from the kitchen window. Enjoy the scenery as you wash your dishes!
Sitting room with two settees (one bed settee), artificial fireplace and picturesque views out over Spiggie Loch. Watch the men fishing for trout or go and have a go yourselves.
Puffins can be seen during the summer period. You can find them at Sumburgh Head, just ten minutes drive from Spiggie House
Shetland ponies can be seen all around Shetland. Take them an apple and they will come up to you to feed.
Shetlanders are very proud of their culture. You can find music in a lot of the pubs during the summer season, the Lounge bar in Lerwick being a popular choice.
More often than not you can find seals down at our little beach. Normally there will be two or three playing together. If you cannot see any, just make alot of noise and a nosey seal is bound to come looking.
Knitting is a well known pastime in Shetland. You will find a wide range of Shetland knitting at the shops throughout Shetland.
In case there is the odd rainy day, Spiggie House has satellite TV, DVD player, books, games, cards and much more.
Although the guests' apartment is joined onto the main house, you have complete privacy at all times.
