Just outside Inverness join the A9 heading North, contunue on the A9 North over the Kessock Bridge and onto the Black Isle. At the Tore roundabout continue North on the A9. Cross the Cromarty Bridge and turn right at the roundabout signposted A9 North.
Evanton is signposted to the left of the A9, take this turning and follow the road through the village of Evanton.
Immediately after the Black Rock Caravan Park on your left there is a signpost to Assynt 1 1/2 miles and Glenglass 5 miles. Turn left here and follow the road for exactly 1 1/2 miles, at this point Assynt Mains Farm will be on your left. Turn right before the farm and follow the drive to Assynt House. Look out for the white gates and sign on the wall.

One leaving Inverness Airport follow the signs towards Inverness and the A9.
