miles south of the beautiful Glentrool, where the River Cree and Water of Minnoch converge. The property is an ideal venue for horse owners, walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, canoeists, anglers and golfers as all needs are catered for without travelling far. The accommodation consists of three self-catering units, one single and two with twin bedrooms, all with a spacious open plan kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting room. All linen, towels and heating are included, there is clothes drying facilities on-site and packed lunches, meals and provisions can be provided by prior arrangement.
The area boasts some of Dumfries & Galloway’s finest scenery together with an exciting variety of activities. The farm offers grass livery and stabling for horses and those looking to brush up on their equestrian skills can take advantage of tuition from qualified instructors. The long-distance walking route, the Southern Upland Way, borders Brigton Farm so you can walk as much or as little as you like, while cyclists will love the exhilarating 7stanes mountain biking centre at Glentrool in the heart of the Galloway Forest Park. Keep your eyes peeled for rare wildlife in the forest and head to the Wood of Cree RSPB reserve, reached through a delightful trail passing waterfalls with views over the River Cree.
