From Stromness - If arriving from Stromness on the A965 turn right at the roundabout on the edge of town and then right again at the bottom of the hill facing Stenness Loch. Follow the road ahead, bearing right after the bridge where the sign says "Orphir A964". Follow the road for about 10 miles, before passing Marness Garage (Renault). Blinkbonny is up the first left after the sign for Foveran.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From the Kirkwall airport Turn right at the exit and head into town. Take a left (signposted Heavy Vehicles) onto the Clay Loan, and turn left at the bottom. Go first right at the signpost for "Orphir A964"and follow the road for about 2.5 miles. Blinkbonny is up the first road on the right after the signpost "Bloomfield"
Getting There by Ferry
From Hatston Ferry Terminal, Kirkwall Turn left towards Kirkwall, drive past an industrial estate until you come to a large roundabout. Take the second exit past the Highland Filling Station. Continue till you reach a small roundabout and turn right. Turn right again at the sign for "Orphir A964". (There is a church on your left). Follow this road for approx 2.5 miles. Blinkbonny is up the first road on the right after the signpost "Bloomfield"
From South Ronaldsay Follow the road to Kirkwall. Keep left (signposted Town Centre) down Holm Branch Road into town past the hospital. Go first left at the signpost for "Orphir A964" and follow the road for about 2.5 miles. Blinkbonny is up the first road on the right after the signpost "Bloomfield"
