Osedale House B&B
Osedale house is a traditional stone built croft house situated on open croft land next to the charming river Ose . It has stunning views of Loch Bracadale, Harlosh,, Tarner islands and Macleods Tables. On a fine day the black Cuillin can also be seen.
Its wild rural location makes an ideal base for the walker ,fisherman or people who just love to absorb the atmosphere of this beautiful island.
We have a wide range of maps and books for guests to read or loan. The dining room is available in the evenings to guests for reading or a quiet drink.All rooms offer a broadband wireless connection for laptops.
Our rooms are all en-suite with hot drink making facilities, satellite TV, hair driers ,radiators, electric shaver point ,heated towel rail. All rooms offer enchanting views of Loch Bracadale and the river Ose.
The village of Dunvegan is only 6 miles away.It has shops , restaurants, a medical centre and the historic castle, ancestral home of the clan Macleod. The castle is open to the public and offers extensive gardens and seal boat trips.
We have ample parking at Osedale and you will be greeted with a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake on arrival .Choice of breakfast includes local sausage and bacon , skye kippers , homemade bread, home made muesli . Eggs are from our own free range chickens . Vegetarians are very well catered for . Also the option of a fruit platter. Home made shortbread biscuits are provided in the bedrooms.
