Glendaruel Caravan Park Self Catering - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Dunoon head north on the A815 then take the B836. At the junction with the A886 head north for approximately 4 miles to Glendaruel. The park is on the left hand side (This route is a 1.5 up hill gradient at the head of Loch Striven). From Dunoon head north on the A815 to Strachur then take the A886 for approximately 13 miles to Glendaruel. The park lies on the right hand side.
Getting there by Aeroplane
(From Glasgow Airport) From the M8 join the A82 along Loch Lomond side to Tarbet then follow the A83 over the Rest And Be Thankful then the A815 to Strachur. At Strachur turn right onto the A886 for approximately 13 miles.The park is on the right hand side. Vehicle access from A886 only, not from West Road.
Getting There by Ferry
From Dunoon head north on the A815 then take the B836. At the junction with the A886 head north for approximately 4 miles. The park is on the left hand side(This route has a 1 in 5 up hill gradient)not recommended for towing a caravan. An alternative route is to continue North on the A815 to Strachur. Then take the A886 for approximately 13 miles. The park lies on the right hand side if traveling south.
