With over 30 castles on your doorstep, it would be a shame not to visit some of them during your stay. From the magnificent 600 acre estate of Culzean and the famous golf club at Rowallan to the partial ruins of Dundonald and Turnberry, each castle is steeped in history and well worth a visit.
Only four miles from Ayr's sandy beaches
The park is also located just outside Ayr where you can enjoy a day at the beach, do a spot of shopping or take time to visit Scotland's premier racecourse.
