Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Tourist Information Centre walk westward along the gardens side of Princes Street to the second bus stop beyond the Scott Monument and take bus number 11, 15, 16 or 17 to Morningside Road (a 10 minute journey) and alight at Waitrose Supermarket bus stop which is also opposite the Merlin Pub and Restaurant and walk two minutes downhill until you reach the second block of flats. The Albern Morningside Apartment is immediately opposite Marks and Spencer food hall and the entrance door is adjacent to Boots the Chemist.
Getting There by Railway
From Edinburgh Waverley Station take a taxi or alternatively walk up the entrance road onto the Waverley Bridge. Go up the hill toward the shops on Princes Street and walk westward along the gardens side of Princes Street to the second bus stop beyond the Scott Monument and take bus number 11, 15, 16 or 17 to Morningside Road (a 10 minute journey) and alight at Waitrose Supermarket bus stop which is also opposite the Merlin Pub and Restaurant and walk two minutes downhill until you reach the second block of flats. The Albern Morningside Apartment is immediately opposite Marks and Spencer food hall and the entrance door is adjacent to Boots the Chemist.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport take the A8 towards the city centre taking the City Bypass (A720) at the first roundabout heading south. Turn off at the exit for Lothianburn (A702) and head north towards the city centre and stay on this main route passing through Fairmilehead and then coming past Braid Hills Hotel and Braidburn Park to Morningside. Once through the traffic lights at Morningside Junction the apartment is 30 metres on from The Canny Man's Pub and opposite Marks and Spencer food hall. Alternatively there is an airport bus which terminates on Waverley Bridge in the city centre.
