Visit Whithorn and see relics from the Bronze Age and take a walk in St Ninian’s footsteps to a magnificent cave used as a retreat in the 6th and 7th centuries. Further to the west are the renowned gardens at Castle Kennedy, Logan, Glenwhan and Ardwell which reflect the mild micro climate here with their impressive displays of tropical plants.
