The bungalow is personally supervised by the owner who for many years has provided popular accommodation at High Killantrae Cottage. Being centrally located this is the ideal spot for touring Western Galloway with Newton Stewart, Stranraer, Whithorn and Wigtown all within a half hour drive. You can explore our wonderful gardens, browse through the Book Town at Wigtown and enjoy a lesiurely lunch before checking on the Osprey family who return to nest here each year and are monitored by video link.

Visit Whithorn and see the relics in the Museum and Visitor Centre attached to the Archeological dig before taking a walk in St Ninians footsteps down the lovely Physgill Glen to St Ninian's Cave, where the tranquility will astound you. Further to the west are the renowned gardens at Castle Kennedy, Logan, Glenwhan and Ardwell which reflect the mild climate with their displays of tropical plants. Drive to the Mull of Galloway and visit the RSPB Centre and Scotland's most southerly lighthouse.
