Noddsdale is a B Listed Country House, in the Arts and Crafts style, just outside Largs. Set in mature grounds, it has 2 luxurious and beautifully appointed holiday apartments in peaceful surroundings. The Bell Loft is 4 star and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both with showers, accommodating up to 5. The East Wing is 3 star with 1 bedroom and bathroom and can sleep up to 4 people with the use of a double sofabed.
The Bell Loft used to be the servants' quarters and has been sympathetically renovated in 2008/09 to provide high quality holiday accommodation. It is on the first floor and is accessed by a flight of stairs. It has its own front door.
The East Wing is on the first floor of the original farm buildings, which were converted in the 1920s to form a guest wing. With its own front door, entry is by a flight of ten steps, which makes these properties unsuitable for anyone who is disabled or for young children.
Noddsdale is two miles from Largs and within an hour of Glasgow and Prestwick airports. Ferries to Cumbrae, Bute and Arran are nearby and the paddle steamer Waverley offers trips on the Clyde in July and August. There are several golf courses close by.
Nearby are Kelburn Castle and Country Park, with Burns Country and Loch Lomond within driving distance, as are Culzean Castle and Turnberry.
Children welcome 10 years and over. Sorry no pets.
