Getting there from the Information Centre

From the Gateway Centre at Balloch which is 10 miles away, you can take the bus to Drymen Centre 800m from Foxglove Cottages.

From Stirling Tourist Office you can get a bus to Drymen Centre 800m from Foxglove Cottages.

Getting There by Car

We are just off the A811 Drymen bypass. Do not go into the village. Stay on the bypass.

From the south, take the first right into the road marked to Gartness. From the north, take the first LEFT into the road marked to Gartness.

Go down for three hundred yards. You will cross a small bridge.
At that point you will see red sandstone gates in front of you. (There is a bend in the road that goes up a hill after this point. Do not go up the hill.)

Drive through the gates and up the drive.

You will come to a cross roads with gates in front of you. Go right and then left. You have arrived.

Getting There by Railway

Glasgow Central station is 20 miles away. You can then take the city train to Milngavie or Balloch both of which are 10 miles away. There are buses from Glasgow, Milngavie or Balloch that come to Drymen centre 800m from Foxglove Cottages.

Stirling Station is 20 miles to the East with buses from the nearby bus station to Drymen centre 800m from Foxglove Cottages.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Glasgow International Airport is 20 miles distant - around 35 minutes depending on traffic.

Edinburgh International Airport is 55 miles distant - around 55 minutes.
