Getting There by Car

Situated on the edge of the Howe of Fife, Auchtermuchty is approximately 30 miles north east of the Forth Road Bridge and within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and St. Andrews.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Edinburgh Airport take the M90 North over the Forth Road Bridge. Exit at Junction 8 signposted to St Andrews and the Tay Bridge (A91). Continue through Gateside to Auchtermuchty. In Auchtermuchty turn right onto the B936 signposted to Falkland and Kirkcaldy. As you exit the village of Auchtermuchty, a large Stone wall develops on the right hand side of the road after a childrens recreational park. Follow twist in road with entrance to the Castle just after on the right hand side.
