They are within ealking distance to the beach and promenade, fine shops and restaurants, recreational facilities, train and bus links and around 45 minutes from Glasgow.
Guests return year upon year to this lovely, cosy and homely cottage and it is well suited for all types of rentals eg individuals, couples, groups, golfers, families and those less able to get around.
Self catering holiday and long term rental enquiries are both considered.
A warm welcome awaits you in this well equipped home situated to the rear of the owner's property. The building dates back over 100 years and was originally the stable block of our traditional sandstone home. Inside however, it offers all the comfort and convenience of a modern home including a refurbished kitchen with integrated appliances, central heating for the colder weather and ceiling fans for the hot summer days. Children enjoy the little extras provided for them while our mature guests love the freedom to enjoy the fine dining and shopping which our local town offers - and all just a few minutes walk away.
You can enjoy indoor swimming, bowling and tennis in the park area immediately behind the cottage and golfers can walk to our three local courses - St Nicholas, St Cuthbert's and Prestwick Old Course.
Prestwick is a wonderful holiday venue and Acorn Cottage will truly add to your vacation experience.
