The rhododendron Ponticum is one of the largest in the area and looks fantastic in spring. Children will love to release energy on the lawns!

The gravelled walkway is elevated above the River Spean. River House is the former north wing of the Lodge and was built in 1878.

It still retains its original decorative cornice and shuttered sash windows. You'll have lovely views of the gardens and enjoy meals in the period atmosphere of the room.
Spean Cottage overlooks the rear courtyard of the Lodge.
You will also have access to view the River Spean and its fine stone bridge built by Thomas Telford in 1819.

Visit the Highlands in May and June if you wish to view rhododendron and azaleas at their magnificent best.
