Both are a few minutes walk from Saddlers Brae. The Wildlife Information Centre is also located in Port Charlotte which offers an insight into the wildlife visitors may see around the island throughout the year. A wider selection of shops and services are available in Bowmore 12 miles. The ferry terminals are at Port Askaig 16 miles and Port Ellen 20 miles. The islands airport is 16 miles.
