Getting there from the Information Centre
At the southern end of Dunbar High Street turn sharp left twice then immediately turn right into Woodbush Brae and go down to the sea. The second last opening on the left at the bottom of Woodbush Brae is Fiddlers Yard. Walk through the black gates. Turn right at the garages. Turn left and follow round to the right into a small patio garden and up to door number 3.
Getting There by Car
skipFrom the A1 turn into Dunbar at Spott Roundabout. Follow Spott Road until the T-junction. Turn left into Queens Road. Take the first right and turn right again into Woodbush Brae and go down to the sea. The second last opening on the left at the bottom of Woodbush Brae is Fiddlers Yard. (You may reverse your car into Fiddlers Yard to unload and load but please park in Woodbush Brae or Woodbush.)
Getting There by Railway
Take any intercity train which stops at Dunbar. The railway station is about 5 minutes walk from Fiddlers Yard. Turn right at the end of Station Road and head straight down to the sea via Woodbush Brae. (Veer left at Church Street to turn right into Woodbush Brae.) The second last opening on the left at the bottom of Woodbush Brae is Fiddlers Yard.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport: Take the airport bus to Waverley Station where there are fairly regular intercity trains which stop at Dunbar, or First Buses 6, X6 or X8 from Princes Street to Dunbar High Street. By car, drive East to the A1 via the A720, the Edinburgh City By-Pass. Follow the A1 until Spott Roundabout, the second roundabout into Dunbar, and turn left into Spott Road.
From Newcastle Airport: Take the airport bus to Newcastle Railway station where there are fairly regular intercity trains which stop at Dunbar. By car, drive north along the A1 until Spott Roundabout, the first roundabout into Dunbar, and turn right into Spott Road.
Getting There by Ferry
Its about 50 minutes from Dunbar by road.You can also reach Dunbar easily by road and rail from the continental ferry ports of Hull and Newcastle and by road from the port Cairnryan which serves Northern Ireland.
