The Old Schoolroom

A recently renovated former Victorian Schoolroom. The Old Schoolroom provides comfortable accommodation for four adults.

Accommodation comprises two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Bathroom and lounge diner leading through tot the well appointed kitchen. The Old Schoolroom benefits from under floor heating and has a wood burning stove in the lounge. It has a private garden and driveway, there is seating in the garden and a barbeque. All linen and towels are included as is heating. Cots, high chairs etc. are available at no extra charge. The telephone is operated on an honesty basis. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, cutlery crockery etc. We are child friendly and allergy aware. No dogs due to location in open farmland.

With pleasant rural views and outlook the Old Schoolroom is centrally placed for exploring Islay, Jura and Colonsay. The main village of Bowmore is 5 miles away and the nearest shops are at Bridgend 2 miles away. The Old Schoolroom is all on one level. A welcome pack is included to set you up for your stay.
