The Tufted Duck Hotel

A warm welcome awaits you at the Tufted Duck Hotel. After parking and entering at the rear of the hotel you will immediately be warmed by the glow of the log fire burning in the lounge.

We have created a friendly, welcoming atmosphere And almost every part of the hotel has since been re-furbished, and as such, we now have an ambience of quiet, calm, and serene, yet homely and inviting at the same time.
The Hotel has 11 attractive, comfortable bedrooms including family rooms. Most rooms have views over the stunning North Sea and Rattrays beach. All rooms have en-suite bath and shower, colour TV with Sky, CD/radio, direct dial telephone and complimentary tea and coffee facilities.

All rooms are finished to a high standard

The Restaurant, renowned in the area for its excellent cuisine, has panoramic and unrestricted views of the dramatic seascape and serves an exceptionally varied and interesting choice of well prepared dishes.

On our truly extensive wine list you should find something to compliment every meal.

On Sundays a traditional Carvery is offered during lunch and Dinner.

The Hotel is situated in St.Combs, four miles to the South-East of Fraserburgh.
This area of Banff & Buchan is renowned for its beautiful countryside, senic coastal villages, and endless miles of unspoilt beaches.

The many miles of beaches near to the hotel make it an ideal location for the increasingly popular sport of Kite-Surfing. A rapidly growing sport requiring only wind & water, both of which we have in abundance.

The hotel can arrange lessons with local, fully qualified teachers, who will have you skimming the waves in a matter of hours

The village of Inverallochy, approximately 1 mile North of The Duck is home to a superb, 18 hole, links course. A new club-house, completed in 1999,
compliments this tight, challenging course perfectly. Built by the generosity of locals and matched funding from the National Lottery, they have created a friendly atmosphere, sometimes lost in small local clubs. The 12th tee is only, 500 yards from the hotel, with the club-house being a short drive away.

Only 4 miles away is Fraserburgh, again 18 holes and equally challenging. At time of printing, a new club-house is under construction, which is scheduled for completion, spring 2006.

challenges to all levels of player.
