Built in 2006 in a traditional local style with its own access from Queens Terrace, driveway and parking for up to three cars, and its own private gardens to the front and rear of the property, it makes an ideal base for visiting golfers (10 minutes walk to the Old Course) and others who just want to explore this interesting and beautiful part of Scotland. Diana is usually available for advice about how to book tee times and suggestions about what to see and do, where to eat out, etc.
The house which is superbly appointed and in immaculate condition throughout, is built on three floors. The ground floor has flagstone floors, a bespoke kitchen with a gas-fired Rayburn cooker, Microwave oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher and an oak dining table with seating for up to 8 people. There is a paved terrace in front of the house with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco eating or drinks before dinner. Also on the ground floor is the cloakroom with W.C. and laundry room.
The first floor has the delightful, comfortable drawing room with views North and South, wooden flooring and multi-fuel stove, a double bedroom with king-sized bed and windows to the South, and a twin bedded room overlooking the back garden to the North. Conveniently situated between the two bedrooms is the shared bathroom with large bath with shower fitment.
On the second floor is the extra large double bedroom with king-sized bed and fully fitted shower room en suite.
Lovely crisp cotton bed linen is provided and large fluffy bath towels can be exchanged midweek if required.
The house has gas central heating throughout and is equipped with telephone, broadband Internet access, TV, DVD and VCR, radio and CD player.
