Nestling amid spectacular scenery, with views over Dervaig, up towards Glen Bellart and across to the Atlantic Ocean, Killoran offers fine dining in relaxing surroundings.
Killoran House is set in 2 acres of ground, on the hillside above the pretty village of Dervaig. It commands panoramic views over the island and off into the distance.
When you come to stay with us at Killoran we want you to unwind completely from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We have 6 spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms. All bedrooms are en suite and provide an extremely comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. There are 4 double sized rooms, 1 king bedded room and 1 twin room. We have one double room on the ground floor, the remainder being on the first floor. All have views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Our gardens are available to guests to relax in and take in the wonderful views or just to wander around.
We want you to be as comfortable and cosy as possible in your room. All our beds have light but warm duvets and colourful throws or quilts for when the weather turns a bit colder. We provide tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms although, if you would prefer, we can serve tea and coffee in the lounge. Our en suites all have showers or bath and shower, luxury toiletries, towels and bathrobes for your enjoyment. We also like to provide a few little extras in our rooms to help make your stay even more enjoyable.
All our bedrooms have LCD television and a DVD/CD player. In addition if you have your own laptop, wifi access is available throughout the house. We also have a study with games, books, DVDs, CDs and a PC with internet access for you to use during your stay.
Breakfasts include fruit and cereal as well as Killoran-made meusli, yoghurt and marmalade. Of course, there is also the full Scottish cooked breakfast. A set four course menu dinner is served in the dining room with its stunning views over Dervaig and Glen Bellart.
After dinner relax upstairs in the lounge which gives access to a balcony to enjoy the last of the Mull sunsets.
